A few years ago I heard an interview with Dave Kreig on the radio. They had him on to get his thoughts on the current Seahawks. And he brought a written list of things he wanted to talk about. Radio guys were giving him shit about it.

That summed up Dave Kreig in a nutshell. He was a bit out of his element on the radio. He's not the smartest guy or the most talented. He knows that, so he tries to make up for it with preparation and spunk. Give him shit if you want, but he made a whole NFL career out of nothing but that.

Krieg kept things interesting during some times with bad teams, and decent teams. I always liked his attitude towards the game. Pretty nice career for a guy from a college that no longer exists.

"During the final five weeks of the year, Brady completed just 61.3 percent of his passes for 7.0 yards per attempt and put up six touchdowns to five interceptions and a passer rating of 81.6. "

Not exactly what I'd call an MVP. Seems like the old guy runs out of gas late in the season.

4-1
1st in AFC
Game winning drive vs. #2 AFC team (Steelers)
GOAT

Honestly, 12 could win MVP nearly every year and BB coach of the year. They don't because excellence is expected of them.

Since we have a 2018 SEAHAWKS THREAD going, I will post this here for Charles.

Trouble in paradise?
The article says yes. The past 17 years says no. I don't know. All I know is that the Patriots have been amazing since 2002. Playoffs start in 2 weeks. I doubt any of the stuff in the article will affect how the team plays.

I was sad to see Jimmy G. go. He is gonna be a real good QB. They don't grow on trees.

Looks like my beloved Patsies will play the Tennessee Titans at 5:45 PST in Foxboro next Wednesday. The Titans should try and run the ball to shorten the game and take advantage of the Patsies poor run defense. Hopefully the addition of Harrison helps the Pats set the edge on runs to the outside which has been their biggest weakness.

I's been a drama filled week in Patsie land. They are likely going to lose DC Matt Patricia to the Detroit Lions after the playoffs. OC Josh MsDaniels may also be gone to any number of teams. There has been speculation of a rift between BB and Tom Brady although it seems that was likely overblown.

It's been a truly amazing 17 year run. I have a 5th grade daughter who has never lived in a year that the Pats did not make the playoffs. It will end at some point. Everything does. I am starting to fear a reality that I have to suffer through a poorly coached team that takes dumb penalties, fails at situational football, can't cover kicks and punts etc. It must be frustrating hell. It's been so long since I had to endure it that I don't even remember what it is like.

Its like the first 20 some years of your life were as a Pats fan.....

Package....
The Raymond Berry or Don McPherson years or even the Pete Carroll years were tough to watch. Add to it quarterbacks like Eason and Hodson and it's almost like Pats fans earned Brady and Belichik but it's truly just lucking into 2 GOAT's.

I hope Chickenhawk fans get a coach to pair with RW after Pete goes. They've earned it by persevering through the Mariners irrelevance and losing the Sonic's.
