Id Please - Stonefly

Found this bug on a headwaters stream. Would love to know precisely what it is. Thanks in advance!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe males have short wings because they don't need to deposit their eggs, whereas females develop the large wings in order to fly over the water in order to do just that.

Hi Tasty-

I believe the only Perlid where the males are short-winged is Claassenia sabulosa, which is generally referred to by the common name of Shortwing Stone, even though the females of this species have full length wings. Assigning any because to the process of evolution is a very slippery slope which I religiously avoid. :)
