I'm trying to find some Dyneema thread, but not having much luck. Anyone got a supplier, they would be willing to share?

GSP

My understanding is Dyneema is a trade name for GSP.

Veevus is less costly per yard, but I do like the quality of UTC spools and the consistency of their spooling.

Dyneema is Ultra-High Molecular weight Polyethylene. Manufactured by means of a gel-spinning process. I just want to know where I can order some without having to go off shore.

Dyneema is a brand name of gel spun polyethylene, as Teflon is a brand name of a PTFE formula. I stated the two GSP thread products I've used, and both are readily available in the US. One or both may be made of Dyneema brand fiber.

livin' the dream
Didn't know dyneema was made thinner than 7/64 inch. Use it for my hammocks.

If it is indeed GSP, thanks for teaching something new today.
