I've used these in the past and they're decent but have the slit which is great for bobbers but not so much for slip indicators, right Ira?

If they have the slit and the peg is used to pinch it into the slit, than no they don't work for slip indicators. They are the right shape, but the single color will make it harder to detect some more of the subtle takes/strikes.

As for "bobbers", as I've often said, "If it is bobbing, you are doing it wrong." Upon further thought, even "strike" isn't the best word, because it indicates something violent and often times things are far from that. I'm thinking Take Indicators or Takeacators.

No Kid- I was thinking about a new type of strike indicator and couldn't remember the name. It finally came to me, it's called the Boobie-Bobber. It is a small foam replica of a female breast molded with the clever tri-color molding process that provides separate colors for the breast, areola and nipple. It attaches to the line in somewhat the same manner as a Thingamabobber but uses a unique short cantilevered arm instead of the usual tab. The entire foam profile is molded around this tab so that when the line is attached the Boobie_Bobber bounces provacatively on the water. The idea apparently is to provide some relief from the brutally boring practice of watching a conventional plastic strike indicator while chironomid fishing. Designed to take your mind off of the grim task at hand and provide stimulation and hope going forward, it is described by the manufacturer as "feel good fishing".

Boobie-Bobbers are molded in 5 different colors to match the skin tone of boobies world wide and three different sizes-small, medium and 38D.

Due to a marketing gaffe on the part of the Chinese manufacturer Boobie-Bobbers are currently only available in vending machines in men's restrooms along a narrow band of the west coast. It is hoped that this error will be corrected and we will all be able to get our hands on Boobie-Bobbers soon. Stay tuned-"feel good fishing" is just ahead!

I'm sure Ive can't post those pictures on this website. You will have to do a search to find the XXX rated version. A search for Boobie_Bobber images is sure to get the results you desire.

I think they forfeited their trademark. C'est kaput! How could they let a good name like that get away? I made up that name, I had no idea it was a real thing.
