This issue was covered in the documentary "Tapped". It was pretty well done, though certainly had the "evil companies" slant... which I find off-putting. It certainly suggests that The Nestle' Company has been up to some significant tomfukery as it pertains to cornering some of our nations largest aquifers. What's crazy is that the requirements for bottled water is low and when you consider the price we're all paying -- downright laughable. It does get you thinking about the impacts of the products we use. Largely from having watched that movie, we are trying to limit the amount of bottled water we buy.
