Thinking of going end of September. I know steelhead counts are way down but the chukar hunting in a new area sounds interesting and a chance to see some beautiful country with your dog

In past years we have done combined camping, fishing, and hunting trips to the Grande Ronde. My upland hunting skills are suspect at best so my experience hunting chukars was less than memorable but others in the group had success. Rugged country to hunt.
