Water temp, 39 degrees. Vis, over 5 feet and running low. Cold in the morning but once the sun cleared the ridges it was pleasant.

Between 2 of us we landed well over a dozen bull trout 14" to 20" with several more LDRed.

I think we would have got into some steelhead if it were not for the gill nets we were dodging all day.

The Skagit steelhead are doomed.

How far upriver were the nets?
The last I saw the river, they were down in the Lyman Hamilton area.
Anything higher than that?
