Skittering and Swinging: A Season Away From The crowds

I don't know, having lived in both states multiple years, WA is starting to grow on me. MT dry fly fishing....no contest. Streamers....ehh. Rather chuck streamers at coho than river trout. Having lived in CO and MT and caught lots of big river trout, the fight of a 5+ lb coho to a 5lb brown is not comparable.

Plus the SRC fishing is nothing to sneeze at either.

The pretty decent river fishing in western WA that Ian reported on is just icing on the cake...
