That's a 3/4" thingamabobber. Rob's correct again. Measure it Dustin, I have the same vice jaws and they are 3/8" wide. Yes that is a fly, even it were tied with a 1.25" thingamabobber but, are you using glass beads? Cause if they are plastic your dropper won't drop much in moving water. If you add lead to make it sink you're bobber fishing.

So the difference between a bobber and an indicator is determined by how the fish takes the offering?

If i am chinook fishing and a fish inhales my eggs and my bobber just goes down without bobbing up and down it's an indicator and therefore i am fly fishing?

Why exactly is this a joke Greazzie? Did you read all of this thread before you decided to post? Did you by any chance catch why I was asking the question in the first place? Do you think this is a joke, because obviously I would set the hook, because who the hell cares how one hooks some chrome on the fly rod? I have so many questions for you! But I'll let you answer these first.
