Oh! Hahaha. I thought it was a little obscure but i'm done trying to enforce rules. so then i guess we are back to yours @Montana1422 ?

"That dog lost his whole head just looking for a little piece of tail."

I guess Dylan. ;)

I will concede this one as maybe too obscure.

Roy Buchanan, Drowning on Dry Land. I posted a video in the other music thread.

So, somebody go next.....!!!

Nobody? Ok, i'll put up an easy one:

"We're like two lost souls
swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year"

One of the greatest songs of all time...Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here.

1. The price of meat has just gone up and your ole lady has just gone down.

2. I'm praying for rain, I'm praying for tidal waves. I wanna see the ground give way, I wanna watch it all go down.

3. Into the distance a ribbon of black. Stretched to the point of no turning back. Fatal attraction is holding me fast.

3 is Pink Floyd, Don't know the others. Here are three of my favorites.

1. I wish I was in Tijuana, eating barbecued iguana.
2. I changed my hairstyle so many times now, I don't know what I look like.
3. On the sidewalk Sunday morning lies a body oozing life.

Smells like low tide.
"She's got long black hair
and a big black car
I know what you're thinkin'
but you won't get far
She's gonna do you in
'cause ......"

(any more would give it away. Some of you may be too young to remember hearing this on the local rock stations back in the sixties. Iconic group from Tacoma)

Woodman60, your 1st two lines sound vaguely familiar, but I can't nail 'em down. 3rd one doesn't even ring a bell.

Think it was September, the year I went away,
For there were many things I didn't know.
And I still see him standing, try'n' to be a man;
I said, "Someday you'll understand."
