Do any of you have the recipe for a Super Fly nymph? I couldn't find it online. I think I know how I tied the ones I have but I'm not quite sure they are tied as per the original.

Yes, it worked today but I had a lot of hits and misses. Soooooo..... I may have the pattern close but not close enough. Thus, I'm checking.

I would show you the fly but I can't get the image to move into the post so I need figure out what is haywire.

Maybe that is the original. A friend taught me how to tie the fly he learned about while fishing a pay-to-play lake in Washington. I wish I could remember the name of the lake.

Probably Isaacs Ranch. George Cook really liked the fly and did much to popularize it, and depending on when your friend fished the lake George may have been guiding it.
