Hmmm I didn’t buy my salt water pass this year :( so I’d like to stick to fresh water. Yeah I’ve been to the Cowlitz River and have had some good runs on there. Was curious if there was any other rivers/streams that might be worth checking out?

You can always go to a license dealer and add on a saltwater license. In your area, it is worth it.

I’ve got a salmon/steelhead set up. But I’ve been on a trout spree lately haha so I’d probably lean towards trout waters for at least another month or so.

The Deschutes River is good for cutthroat. Many bridges to be used as access points. Up until this year, it was year-round, catch and release. Now, it's only open June-October, so watch your dates.

Couple decent creeks flowing out of the Black Hills, too.
