Box of Chocolates

We live in such a wonderful state. In the last ten days I've caught a 20" rainbow, 20" brown, had a chance at tiger muskie but got bit by a multi-pound smallie, taken big largemouth on topwater on a lake bounded by a road, caught black crappie that bend the heck out of a 5-weight, found some feisty bluegill, played with yellow perch and both westslope and coastal cutthroat. And I haven't had time yet to get onto the salt because this year is all about lakes for the new book I'm writing.

And if anyone is interested in another alternative to trout, try walleye on the fly. They love the Chartreuse Caboose and D-Dub's Brown Rabbit Bugger.
