Fishing Art

I always keep my eye out for good fishing art, and I recently came across some amazing stuff created by someone in one of my fly tying groups. I don't know Ryan personally, but his work is some of the coolest I have seen. I just bought a bunch of the prints for the holidays (all for me). Sharing in case anyone else digs this type of art as well:

And an recent Orvis article on Ryan:

If anyone else has any favorite fishing related artists please share. I would love to check them out!

I had a show in the late 90's at Sun River Lodge...and had small work at the camp Sherman Store on the Metolius. What i learned was that fly fishermen buy gear and stuff not art. Their wives never showed up with check books. here is some of the stuff I did. Most of it eventually sold...or was gifted and donated. I have done perhaps 30 or so in this genre...click to see larger

Amazing stuff, Skip! Thanks for sharing.

My wife must be an outlier, she is has been known to buy any fish related stuff. If there are loons involved she doesn't stand a chance :).
I gifted this one...stylistically created using blotter paper... I call it a loon, a blurry distant loon?... ;)

Yeah well we did record a song...Richards vocals are all over the place... ;)
