What’s Catching You Fish?

hell yeah, going old school on the rod! I've never cast the Talisman, but I do a Berkley Gowdy PM that is really sweet.
I don’t use it often, personally not my favorite for casting but it is probably my favorite rod aesthetically - just looks vintage cool. $20 estate sale find.

That's an unusual multi rod rack! What is it please? Looks like closet hardware for multiple pants or something? Thanks!
I built it from 1/8" brass brazing rods that I bent and soldered together.
I put surgical tubing on the rod holding curves to cushion the rods.
It works well for me.
I use heavy rubber bands to hold the rods in place and zip ties to secure the holders to the d-rings.
I heated a nail to melt the holes in the upper side of the storage bags. It made a precise hole that won't unravel.
When I make another I will leave an inch or two more space between the rod holding hooks as the tips sometimes get tangled though not often.
Sincerely,
Mac'Gyver ;)

You're probably seeing a pattern here...only difference is basically the Finn Raccoon tail compared to the craft fur.

This (recipe of) Trash Panda Express accounted for many of my fish yesterday. They're quite durable and easy to tie and I ended up with two that are basically unrecognizable.
