Pulp Fiction...
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
I am almost quoted that one! Pulp Fiction is one of my all-time favorite movies. When my husband (who was then just a boyfriend ) and i went to see that move with another couple i think it was the first time i considered i might marry him, though because of being fairly newly divorced i thought i never wanted to get married again. The other couple hated the movie but we both loved it so much and rooted for either Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta to win the Academy Award.

I still don’t understand how SLJ didn’t win it. I forgot who did.

Edited to add: Oh lord Martin Landau beat SLJ that year for that stupid Johnny Depp movie “Ed Wood”. I’ll give it to Tom Hanks for “Forrest Gump” though.

Too NSFW to post here, but another Elmore Leonard classic. Filmed as "Jackie Brown" with SLJ, Pam Grier and Robert Forster in perhaps the role of his career.

My fav: The Beaumont Scene" with SLJ and Chris Tucker. Just Google it.

I'll stop now; this is like eating peanuts.

"Well, yeah, but it would probably be better if someone else did it. I've had a few... accidents.

From the movie Kingdom of Heaven

Hospitaler: "I put no stock in religion. By the word "religion" I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What god desires is here [points to head], and here [points to heart], and what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man - or not.

I find it hard to believe that in ten pages there has been no mention of Casablanca. It has some of my favorite lines. The whole movie has become a cliche. It is the best “B” movie ever made and filled with great lines which fit so many things I see on the news. Example on fashion the best line, as the Nazis marched into Paris, Rick says to Elsa “you wore blue, the Germans wore grey” that is only one of the great lines.

Awesome submissions all.

"Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo." (Shout out to slapstick)

"You're a big winner. I'm gonna ask you a simple question and I want you to listen to me: who's the big winner here tonight at the casino? Huh? Mikey, that's who. Mikey's the big winner. Mikey wins." & " Baby, you're so money and you don't even know it." (Those suits tho!)

...and from my favorite film:

"It was Keyser Soze, Agent Kujan. I mean the Devil himself. How do you shoot the devil in the back? What if you miss?"

Nake Gun:

Yes. Well, when I see 5 weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of 100 people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.
