NFR New Tool Album

Uck Uck Uck, bitches
what is appropriate here for me...Hmmm...?I am not going to diss Tool ...thoughi find them boring as sheet...

Signs
Don't walk, sign here
Please be quiet
Wait here
Stop, yield, slow
So many more
We are supposed
To know
Dark sky,lightening
It's getting dark
The appearance of a dove
A whispering wind
Speaks poetically
A breadth or puff
So delicately
All are signs
We are witness to
Many reactions
In a similar way
Like we are
Supposed to
Some signs are
Subtle and implied
A wink or nod
Or hands clasped
As if praying
A furtive glance
Or closed eyes
The signs unseen
When you close your eyes
But then
You may hear them.

I know the pieces fit
'Cause I watched them fall away.
Mildewed and smouldering,
Fundamental differing.
Pure intention juxtaposed
Will set two lovers' souls in motion
Disintegrating as it goes
Testing our communication.
The light that feuled our fire then
Has a burned a hole between us so
We cannot see to reach an end
Crippling our communication.
I know the pieces fit
'Cause I watched them tumble down.
No fault, none to blame
It doesn't mean I don't desire to
Point the finger, blame the other
Watch the temple topple over.
To bring the pieces back together
Rediscover communication.
The poetry
That comes from the squaring off between
And the circling is worth it
Finding beauty in the dissonance.
There was a time that the pieces fit
But I watched them fall away.
Mildewed and smouldering,
Strangled by our coveting.
I've done the math enough to know
The dangers of our second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow
And strengthen our communication.
Cold silence has
A tendency to
Atrophy any
Sense of compassion.
Between supposed brothers,
Between supposed lovers.
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit

I was at a Taproot concert and was ordering a beer at the bar, when someone tapped my shoulder. When I turned around to tell the person to wait their turn, it was Stephen Richards still in the middle of singing his set! Dude just wanted a beer. I let him cut. The whole time he's standing next to me belting it out!

Majority of people who like TOOL wish everyone else thought they sucked so we could watch them in a place no bigger than the Moore Theatre-1800 capacity. I'd usually say small club, but we need room for the lasers and big screen ! And, tickets would be like $28 AND available.

I went to that Soundgarden show. I believe it was a multiple day festival and Tad, Monster Magnet and Eleven opened up that day. Probably others. I remember being struck by the style of Eleven and being sonically crushed by the bass of Tad.

Was it called “rock stock” or something like that?

Songs like “Prison Sex” always brighten up my day. I’ve been told not to sing along at work though!
Love Primus and King Crimson too. Was listening to some stuff Les Claypool did with Julian Lennon the other day. So much music and so little time.
Yeah, songs about getting ass raped as a kid are probably not the best for any workplace.
