Yeah... I get lucky once in a while, too, and it does feel pretty good when it happens.

I will say it's a good deal easier to make that cast from a boat than from your feet. That extra height is a real advantage when performing aerial mends at distance.

Making your best cast of the day and being rewarded is guaranteed pure stoke.

Getting a 150 pound tarpon to eat is way more “fly” than your silly trout game.
Lulz. Pretty easy to pick out the salt guys out who are visiting to fish our hatch. They are the dudes fumbling around in the bushes trying to untangle their fly. Then about an hour into the float they are pulled over and rigging up the bobber.
