Hole of The Day

#12
Last summer I put on the mask and fins and took a look at a hole in extreme low water. Instead of 5'-6' as expected, it bottomed out at 11.' Just as unexpected was the tangle of giant logs (some 2' in diameter) stacked like Pickup Sticks below the surface. In the gouged out gravel below the lowest trunk lay a school of 3lb-7lb suckers that I'd never seen before. And at the back of the hole, a solitary 20-22lb king and a bunch of trout.
