Switch spey casting

Tough to get a feel for spey casting on the lawn. You need the water resistance to help load the rod. It will cast completely differently with the load on the rod. Spend some time on your nearest water practicing with different heads and weights, and like others have recommended, a four hour lesson on the water makes all the difference in the world.

I sell them at the shop. Our switch lines require polyleaders as part of their weighting system. Use med to small flies. Practice in water or use a grass leader in grass.

Leland.
