Yak Report 3/18

Fished the Yakima today. On the water 10-6. It was my first ever float trip and I was not disappointed. 60 degrees and cloudless with winds topping out at 6 mph. Saw lots of wildlife including mink, bald eagles, golden eagles, herons, and waterfowl.

Oh and the fishing was good. 40+ fish to net between the three of us. Pat's stone, San Juan worms, 20-incher stone were the most productive. Got one cuttie on a chubby Chernobyl and the fish pictured on a size 16 soft hackle pheasant tail.

Thanks for the report. I was planning to make a trip out there this weekend, but with everything going on right now, I don't think I'll be able to get away. You've just made it worse for me. :)
