Inspired by Ira's recent chironomid post. Give us your 6 favorite, most "go-to" flies. Nymphs, streamers, dries... all of it. Pictures are all for the better, especially for your own patterns (which are encouraged!).

My own top 6:
- Beadhead pheasant tail
- Zebra midge
- Chubby Chernobyl (my favorite is black foam and golden-brown ice dub)
- Black BH wooly bugger
- Parachute Adams
- San Juan Worm

For trout rivers and streams (in no particular order):
1. Big black wooly bugger with a gold bead.
2. Muddler minnows of varying size and buoyancy
3. The Usual
4. CDC & Elk
5. soft hackle pheasant tail with or without a bead
6. various small soft hackle wets (partridge and [color], Drowned Ant, grouse and flash)

Damn, for trout….

My own bucktail articulated streamer
conehead wooly bugger variant
my own jigged stonefly nymph
jigged hotspot PT
Chubby Chernobyl
Parachute Adams

That should cover just about everything...would be nice to have an ant pattern in there, but not at the expense of anything else.
