NW Rivers

I am heading up to the Skagit (near Concrete) and the Skykomish (near Gold Bar) this week to do some camping/fishing. Being new to the sport, I have never fished either river. Any suggestion on flies/sizes?

Sink tip, black or gray bunny leach. :THUMBSUP Or you could skate a Caddis on the surface with a dry line for summer Steelies. :DUNNO

I might be old---but I'm good.

Arn't you stretching your self kinda thin. Do you know that from Concrete to Gold Bar is over 100 miles one way. The Skagit is too dirty to fish as the water coming out of the Sauk is full of Glacier melt from the Suaittle. Very low visablity. The Sky should be good. The flies mentioned in the previous are good ones.

I'm going up to fish above the Forks of the Sky tomorrow. I have a few honey holes that I want to try.

I agree with Nailknot and pay no attention to the glacial milk cloudiness. It just makes it easier because you won't spook the fish.
Trust me on this.
