I took my daughters up to the local lake to fish the Hex Hatch.

The following is my normal experience for the hatch.

Get on the water and wait with out much action-

Then around 9 p.m. the hex’s start coming off and the fish start rising.

9:01 p.m. I start spending a lot of time dealing with this-

9:10 p.m. my oldest daughter finally hooks up-

I should of ducked.

9:20 p.m. we get me unhooked, most of our lines untangled and managed to land some fish-

9:35 p.m. the hatch is over. It is a fun 35 minutes though.

Great pic of your daughter holding her fish.

Maybe a face shield for your next trip?

If you hadn't said anything about time, I would swear it looks like the middle of the day with all that light.
