A nod to the brown/grizzly hackle of the original, with something a bit brighter. The first shoulder’s a bit short but that’s what I had at the moment; back to the dye bath (maybe with golden pheasant)

rib - small wire silver

1st shoulder - dyed copper orange (3 Tsp Rit Sunshine Orange, 1/4 Tsp Rit Tan, 1/4 Tsp Rit Purple/4 cups water)
2nd shoulder - hen grizzly

I’ve heard a lot about the purple haze patterns but really don’t understand what they are meant to imitate or when to use them. Any input?
