I've heard a lot about the purple haze patterns but really don't understand what they are meant to imitate or when to use them. Any input?
Trout tripping on LSD? Sorry - the purple haze patterns I was introduced to on the Clark Fork were tied to imitate small mayflies. The light purple body - I don't really know, but the patterns were effective at times.
