These are the two most common species of Baetis in this area of the Russian River. The first four pictures are of Baetis alius and the rest are of Baetis tricaudatus. Baetis alius are 6.5-7 mm excluding cerci and antennae. Baetistricaudatus are 5.5-6.5 mm excluding cerci and antennae.
