Anyone need some ponderosa pine? Lost seven big trees in a windstorm Sunday evening. Luckily the wind was blowing out of the NE. Had it been from the SW as is usual a couple may have hit the house. So now I have a mess to clean up in all the spare time I don't have. Not the kind of woodworking project I had in mind!

that is so cool you could probably do hanging plants off the back or front, like fuschias or something....humingbird paradise
There is some really nice and precise stuff on here!
Got into working with driftwood and found stuff, the eye is a bottom of a bottle, though seaglassed

I like the idea that it rots away and is impermanent

Best one yet. That chair is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I'm seeing a sperm whale eating a giant squid. Moby?

Moby eating a 8-legged thing that could be a squid or octopus or flying spaghetti monster, shark below. I ended up buying and alternating maple with walnut slats for the seating, too much work to shape driftwood into comfortable seating. "Next time" I should have used stainless screws, I'm pretty sure there is a good amount of salt still in that wood!
