I purchased two of the above items. Both are in excellent condition.
I'll probably regret not buying the Hatch reel. Need more time to rationalize.

I'm a newcomer yet I've thought of opening a thread. After buying two of the rods above, I'm seeking assurance that having over 15 fly rods is not indicative of a personality disorder.

If it’s only one or two past 15 it’s a problem. You’ll need more lest people judge you as a newb.

I don't think having too few fly rods is a a sure sign of a personality disorder, but you better work on it.

Hey, is the Opal Surf still available? Are you the original owner? If so, when did you purchase it?
It is still available. I am not the original owner, but bought it in almost new condition a year or so ago. I thought I would fish it off the beach in Florida, but have not had the opportunity.
