Over the past 3 years, I have sold most of my super fast X-thunder and Z-hammer type rods and have gone back to slower and retro rods. These both fit my casting style better, and are more usable on the smaller and smaller streams I am currently gravitating toward:

Main rods:
-- Diamondglass 6'0" 5wt (use a 6wt line)
-- Scott Fibertouch 6'5" 2wt (use a 3wt line)
-- Lami "honey" fiberglass 7'3" 4wt (custom build)
-- Sage SFL fiberglass 7'9" 6wt (possibly my favorite rod of all time)
-- Winston WT 8'0" 4wt (use 4 and 5wt lines)
-- Sage SLT 8'3" 3wt
-- Scott G2 9'0" 5wt
-- Sage SLT 9'0" 7wt
-- T&T Helix 9'0" 9wt

Back-ups and bang-'em-up boat rods:
-- St Croix Legend Elite 9'0" 5wt
-- St Croix Legend Elite 9'0" 7wt
-- Albright A-5 9'0" 9wt

WTB:
-- Mario Wojnicki 7'3" 4wt or 5'10" 4wt glass
-- Mike Brooks "Permacane" 6'6" 4wt midge (parabolic taper)

Echo 12 wt., but no 10 wt.? Hmmm, conspicuous in their absence . . . looks like you need some more graphite!

I have a 9wt blank and 10wt blank waiting to be built. There are a half dozen others waiting for building too. The only rod that I built that remains in my quiver is a pack 4/5 rod, all the others have been sent to friends and family to fish test my building abilities.

I got the 12 after all the tuna porn, I'm a sucker! What would one use a 10wt for locally? Maybe I should come over for a visit or set aside some time to build my blank.

Mumbles, did you participate in any tuna porn?

Regarding 10 weight locally.....I dunno, but it's great for kings in AK.

Well, yes my inventory has changed since the poll began. But I can't remember which rods I've acquired since then. I know I gave one away last Christmas. But I've got rods in my bedroom closet (most special bamboo), the guestroom bedroom closet (the remaining bamboo), in the garage (an unknown number of graphite sticks covering lines weights 5-8, and Speys from 6-9), and in my storage shed (some graphite and a bunch of old fiberglass rods). Hell I've got fly rods all over the damn place. And I just ordered a reel I couldn't resist yesterday too.

Porter,

Reels I could count. Not as many as rods. But I'd have to count them, and I don't know where they all are, so I ain't gonna'. I was gonna' mention that I'm not really a gear junky, but I don't think it would come across as very convincing. Wanna' buy a 7 1/2' three piece, two tip 5 weight bamboo? I have two other 5 wts, and I never get around to fishing this one.
