I have the above fly reel in very good condition, hardly used, but does have some nicks on the bottom edge but fairly minor.
Sell for $150. I can post some pics if need be. These reels are highly sought after. It will hold up to a 5 wt. line.

It's the perfect reel for a 4 wt. It's the only size Gunnison I don't own but I've vowed to hold off buying any more stuff until I can clear my inventory. I use a Marryat MR 8 with my 4 wt. It doesn't have the drag of the Gunnison but at that size, the drags not always that important.

Some guy (not on here) tried to tell me it was a post 98 model. I'm sure it is older than that. How can you tell Steve, even tho I am sure you are right?
It has six large holes drilled in the frame. Post 98 reels have many smaller wholes, like maybe 30. I've never counted them because I never buy a post 98 reel. The Pre 98's also have writing on the frame in white. Pre 94 reel have a matte finish with lettering in black. Also on the interior, the main gear is a rusty color on all pre 98 and pre 94 reels. It not that color on the post 98 reels. The easiest way is by the holes on the frame, however and then the lettering to distinguish pre 98 from pre 94 models. I have 6 pre 94 models and two pre 98's. I don't buy the post 98 reels because they aren't as rare and the drags are not as good. I fish every one of my reels with different weight lines on all. They all perform well.

Thanks Steve and Half Pounder! I found the original box and warranty card. I noted the date on the warranty card as April 1996 as the purchase date. Anyway, if I find a buyer on here that would be nice. I bet I haven't used the reel for 8 years.
