Anybody whipping up something special for the game today?

For me it will be homemade pizza and hot wings (made with Mark Walker's secret hot wing sauce). :thumb: Yum!

Wings! 5lbs of them bad boys to share with friends!

The recipe is out of the Barbecue Bible. 2.5-3lbs wings with 2tsp garlic salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and oregano. Let it marinate for a day, mixing occasionally. Cook over indirect heat for 1 1/2 hours on my Weber, turning half-way. It can't be much easier or tastier. :beer2:

I gotta say, my wings turned out fantastic! I had never done them this way, and maybe it's old news, but I thought I'd share.

I used fresh, not frozen, wings.
I placed them in a steamer basket and steamed them for about 10-12 minutes.
Remove from steamer and place on a cooling rack which is on a baking sheet covered with paper towels. Pat them dry.
Place in the refrigerator to dry out for an hour.
Pre heat the oven to 425 F
Remove paper towels from baking sheet and place sheet on center rack in oven.
Bake for 20 min, turn each wing over and bake for 20 min more.
Remove wings and toss in sauce, return to rack and oven for about 5 min.
Remove wings, toss in sauce again and bake to desired doneness, @ another 5-10 min.

Enjoy!
