Question about hook size for tube flies

I'm just starting to tie tube flies and want to make sure I'm on the right track before I get too many tied up. I'm using the HMH rigid tubes cutting them anywhere from 1" to 1 1/4" with about a 1/2" of the clear junction tube secured to the end.

I've bought some #4 and #6 double hooks and the eye of the #4 being a bit larger, they are really secure in the junction tube. I assume they would slip out as intended during a fish fight. Naturally a size #6 or #8 would come out even easier. Just wondering if there's a hook size limit for this size junction tube with an ID a hair smaller than 1/8"? Thanks.

You can find junction tubing to hold any size hook on any size tying tube you would like at a hobby store. Go look at some of the silicone fuel line tubing the RC crowd uses. You can also use a "tube within a tube", which I have done when using some pretty massive tropical saltwater tubes on schoolie stripers and largemouth in the California Delta.
