Bloody Nymph

I don't think I've posted this one before. It sometimes works well for planters. It's based on a pattern called a Bloody Pheasant Tail Nymph... basically, you replace the peacock herl thorax with red dyed ostrich herl. I like using a material called New Dub from Italy. Unfortunately, it is no longer sold so the closest I've come to replacing it is called Magic Dub from Hareline but it only available in one size.

Sometimes, adding a "hot spot" of red draws the attention of rainbow planters.
