Body: Dubbing brush on fine copper wire, mix of natural and synthetic materials
Tail: Brown partridge barbs

Another crisp, clean creation, Hans. Looks a lot like a nondescript pattern that I called a "Gray" that I tied as a kid. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

I tied a few very similar to this last night before seeing this, although mine aren't nearly as picturesque. I was going to tie up a handful of soft hackle hare's ears, but then decided to tie in bed and watch TV with the girlfriend and didn't want to take that many materials up 2 flights of stairs lol. So instead I carried the vise, bobbin, 10 hooks, a clump of antron dark hare's ear dubbing and plucked a bunch of feathers to bed and tied them up. Glad to know that a master had a similar idea as I did!
