Cispus this weekend?

Got a nice 3wt "brush rod" as an early gift to myself and was thinking about heading to the hills to fish the upper Cispus this weekend. Would it be worth the time or does it fish better when it warms up a bit? I have no clue what the runoff is like this time of year. I'm doing some recon so when the boys are out of school we can disappear for a few days.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I fished a small stream coming off Mt. Adams, and its the same...too fast and deep. And the temp was around 80+

I found some slow moving water around some pools, so may try them in the early evening when the heat is down and a hatch is on. Better chance of the fishees rising to the occasion.
