So I got the clear for sunday to fish.

Option A. Yakima day float any sections of the canyon
(if anyone wants to split shuttles or swap each others services would work) I have a scadden Assault so would require you to have a boat as well

Option B Super secret desert creek that I haven't fished in about 6 years, I have rattlesnake gaiters x2 so if someone wants to split the cost of gas, would leave either Saturday night and sleep in the whip or tent it up or bounce out sunday morning around 330 or 4

option C head to the Klickitat because I am obsessed with steelhead. would like to leave Saturday night crash out and wake up early to do a power float. my only deterrence on this is cost and I have never floated the klick before.

In all seriousness, the klick is pretty scarce of steelhead this year.

100f+ temps in the desert region. That creek will be warm like bathwater.

I am yak neutral.

salmon are showing up close to home. That's my vote .

How in the hell is this thread NFR. Your talking about fishing aren't you??

New people. What it takes to teach them. Ugh
for some reason before I could post the thread it wouldn't go on without letting me select nfr or the article option.

If you're secret desert creek is anything like my secret desert creek, it will be a spring/seep creek, and shouldn't be too affected by the temps.
I have a feeling I know which one he's headed to... I've fished it in July/August when the temps were way up, and the water was definitely very warm.
