Dying Fly Flines?

Anyone ever dye their fly line to change the color, specifically Airflo lines?
I've got a couple of lines that have orange running lines. I'd like to dye the first 15 feet or so of the running line to a darker color.
I dyed some SA lines a many years ago with Rit Dye and it worked great.
Airflo lines are Polyurethane versus PVC. I was curious if anyone had dyed a Airflo line and how the line took the dye or if there were any issue with the line after you dyed it.

Thanks,
SF

Tye Dye colored lines..would go well with hemostats and a tin full of joints (not to exceed 0.004464 stones mind you) ;).

Nope, never even thought to dye my fly lines... why are you doing it?

That should be lines not flines ;)

Just don't line the running line color. I got these out of UK so I had to take what they had left but the price was right.
Now if Airflo would get their act together and start making a 40+ Fast Intermediate again with a clear head.......

Anil,
Welcome news and thanks for the update. Please let me know when you get them in.

I'll keep you guys posted, but rumor has it, the intermediate will be available in either a floating running line version (as before) or a full intermediate running line version...
