Hawks 4-0 for first time...

After this game, I think the game ball should go to the defense (and defensive coordinator), and the offensive coordinator should go sit in the doghouse...

They sure scorched the seat of their pants in that game.

BUT, a win is a win is a win....Insert big grin here.

Of course Houston is no slouch this year.

Hey it didn't look pretty but a win is a win!! Missing 3 O lineman got to be happy with the way this turned out!

Talk about pulling the proverbial "rabbit out of the hat". I said to myself, game over when Houston intercepted late in the 4th... this will serve them well down the road.

Amazing ending. Looking at the stats they had no business winning that one. Both lines got dominated. Wilson had about 2 seconds in the pocket vs. Schwab who had all the time he wanted. Big win on the road!

Only watched the 2nd half. Seemed like the O did a fine job of rallying on a hard day.
Huh? The defense saved the game, and the late penalties on Texas defense! Wilson sacked so many times, he had grass growing on his jersey!

Let's rehearse the game: Wilson drops back - gets sacked. Wilson rolls out - 15+ gain (either run or pass) O.C. kept calling runs straight up the middle, and Wilson dropping straight back. Even the announcers were a bit confused as to why they weren't rolling him out with a moving pocket, or play action more.

Sure, a win is a win, but geez! If a series/type of play(s) ain't working late into the 2nd qrtr (let alone, late into the 3rd qrtr)... um, she ain't working! Let Wilson work to his strengths, especially when you're missing 3 of your offensive linemen. Wilson isn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, who are pocket QB's.

By the way, didn't Seattle lose their offensive coordinator from last year?

I said the same but I had this nagging feeling in the back of my brain that Sherman was going to pick 6 it. So I was only a bit surprised to look up from making salsa to see him tromp into the end zone. After that, I had not doubts... ok maybe one or two... ok I'm still a bit slack jawed!

That was a team win where each side, O and D, did what was needed to win. Neither was perfect - the D took many hits in the 1st half. They all deserve kudos for doing what was needed to win a game that it never looked like they'd pull off . . . until they did! Go Hawks!!!

I was lucky.................I didn't get to watch it. I live in a third world country and I had to watch two 0-3 teams play. I think that one of them won it and now they are 1-3 and the other is 0-4. So much for losers.

Sounds like Boise where their TV stations all have ABS - Anybody But Seahawks.
