I'm not very patient, either. That's why using an indicator in stillwaters drives me nuts... I'm a microwave kind'a guy.
As I've said before, if you are looking at an indicator, and it is not going under more often then you are getting hits trolling/stripping, than, you are doing it wrong

All questions can be answered now by saying either "Obama" or "It's legal now". Depending on your company you can say it in a positive manner or a negative manner and you can always fit in. It's an amazing socialogical experiment, especially if you find yourself amonst strangers. Try it. It's fun.

Funny thing is neither Obama or any recently legalized activity (and there are a few) are as influental or important as most crowds think that they are.

Anyhow, it's a fun experiment.

So... I could say something like: " Well technically that's legal now, thanks to that idiot Obama!"

Would that work?

You could. And it would work.

I prefer to choose to go with either "Obama!" with either a big smile or a large touch of anger or "It's legal now" with the same choice of emotions. Then you watch the reaction of the group. For effect you can also use a thumbs up or a negative head shake.

IMO you can tell a lot about the people by their reactions. The person who get's upset, regardless of whether you went positive or negative, is likely overly emotional for me. So I use it as a nice screening tool to determine who I can actually stomach in a group.

No matter how you choose to do it, I guarentee it will be fun.

In the past I have enjoyed talking politics with my peers. It was nearly always a challenging debate that very seldom ended with any hurt feelings or by calling someone a Nazi. But in this super charged partisan environment talking about politics has become a hazardous activity.
I have never seen such a polarized political system as we have right now.
I am nostalgic for the Eisenhower era, the dollar was worth something, the economy was at it's strongest and the growth of our infrastructure provided good family wage jobs. Ah the good OLD days.

Yep, The racist and Nazi card is are always the first two cards on the top of the deck to be played.

This false crisis is what it is -"manufactured" Pure political posturing in a one party republic.

People are manipulated and polarized the politicians are not.
I really feel sorry for the younger generations.
