SFR: Is this fly fishing?

I was hoping one of the many experts could chime in on this one? He's using a bobber so that makes me thinks that it shouldn't be considered fly fishing. What do you think?

I've thought about that technique but it occurred to me that if a LMB or large trout took the bait, you may never see your expensive RC boat ever again.

Hooking a fish wouldn't be that big of a deal -- landing it might be a bitch!

OMG - I choked on some Halloween candy I laughed so hard watching that.

They started doing this years ago at the sturgeon dead line at bonni many moons ago. they would put the baits and weights on these boats and drive them straight the face of the dam and pull the baits off. They finally said it was illegal so now they made a 5 ft. tall sling shot with a foot attached that they park a car tire on to hold it. They pull these long rubber lines about 15 ft. with the bait and weight in a rubber pouch and lay down and let it fly! they also take the line off the reels and wind it on a 5 gallon bucket so there is no tension on the line. They charge $1.00 for each cast.

The things people do for a fish....

Sounds like they might be stupid enough to start fly fishing soon...;)
