West Side Steel

Im going to be stuck in Seattle area for the next month working. Have not fished Western Washington much and was wondering when the first push of Winter Steelhead will move in. Im assuming first big rain/drop in December? Any rivers that tend to get fish earlier? Just wondering where to concentrate my effort for early season winter steel. I have a raft and I am probably going to squeeze a few floats in if that helps. Thanks in advance!

The coast seems to always get them a bit earlier. I'm sure there are some in there now, but the first big rain in December is a good bet.

Pretty much dead until we get some rain. Even then, the Sky fish will be at Reiter within 24 hours and the Bogi will be a shyt show of boats. Cowlitz usually has some decent early fish.
