A few years back I bought a 4860 II A J Forbes Salt water reel it's a 10wt small arbor reel and I was looking for a larger arbor so I just put it away. I recently picked up a 7wt Spey rod and was thinking about using the reel on it so I thought I would do some research on the reel. I sent off a email to the company and it bounce back saying the address was no good. I'm guessing they may have close there doors. Does anyone have info on this reel, is it any good, it's a nice looking reel and the box says limited edition.

Can't find info on that model. Maybe you meant 6840? That would be a 4" dia, 8.5oz disc drag model. Sounds about right for a 12-1/2+ ft 7/8wt rod.
JAF offered interesting reels, including some less conventional designs at the time. I recall the reels selling at discounts (ebay?) probably in '07-08. Was tempted but didn't need another reel at the time. Haven't noticed JAF products on the market since, so perhaps that was the end of them.

They are a good reel, I use one a lot, Forbes reels are well made & can be bought for a reasonable price.
