When its too hot to fish - Spey Cast (part 2!)

Rob Zelk's pic made me laugh - here's our drift down the Sky on Monday. We floated Sultan to Ben Howard. Nice day, had a great time, but no fish.

I should have added - I'm fishing a 14' 7/8 Meiser Highlander. Man, what a awesome rod. Casts well with a Rio Skagit line for sink tips, I prefer the CND line as a floating line.

Heh Kristen in the process on my second 2-hander. One of the new St. Croix SCIII 13' 7WT. It should match well with the windcutters and midspey in the 7/8 range. Are the CND lines really that nice? I have never tried one yet.

I've been very impressed with the CND lines. I have not tried them on any ST C rods - bring it by when you finish up and we'll try them out! I'd like to check out the rod too! I know you work Saturday, do you have Sundays free? Mike Kinney and AATF are hosting Sunday Spey Sessions at Ben Howard, so that would be a great time to check out what lines would match up well.
