This is a pristine reel, used a few times 50 years ago and stored ever since. There are no signs of wear and tear. The reel has backing and Cortland 555 #10 line which is in decent shape. $60.00 and $10 shipping to the lower 48.

Got lucky and found a cool old Plueger GEM fly reel. It has a telephone latch which dates it to the first two years' production in the early 1930's. It was probably considered a blue collar back in its day, but the drag is smooth, the brass pieces shine and the knob is beautiful. Darn thing...

I have two Pflueger progress reels with broken pawl springs. I know they are not worth much but they both belonged to my Dad. I think they date back to the late 20s or early 3os. Is there any one out there that can fix the springs.
