Tarptent is a niche company that manufactures in Seattle. This is a very spacious one man tent. Unfortunately, it is not spacious enough for my dog & I, which was the goal. I am going back to my 3 pound MSR Missing Link. If you sleep solo and hike with poles this tent would be awesome.
I used it for two nights of car camping in CA, just to test it, so it is virtually new. My dog slept in the crate after it became apparent that it would be too tight. I love, her, and we cuddle often - just not all night's worth. $150.00 for the tent. The dog is priceless.
