This is true Spey rod cast and acts like high end Spey
Think it shines on high teens trout plus
Caught steelhead a plenty to 10 pounds on it last year blast on 3 lb to 6 lb feel few pounds bigger on this rod than true 6 weight
So if u fish John day deshutes grande ronde this will be great stick
