1.) Orvis trout rods from 1940-45, any grade or configuration, varnished or impregnated, good or better cond., as original as possible.
2.) 1st gen Medalist 1594 w/original satin gunmetal finish (not paint/enamel), riveted reel foot, frosted line guard, good or better original cond. Will buy outright or trade for the slightly later one (screw foot) I have now + cash.
3.) Hardy Block Leather Cases, good or better cond., designed or close fits for, and contemporaneous with, the following reels:
--Pre-war 3" St. George (x2)
--1936 1st Model Lightweight
--Late 1940s-ish Lightweight / LRH Lightweight (x3 x2)
--Might also consider period cardboard boxes marked for the above reels
4.) Pre-1950 Hardy Lightweight and LRH Lightweight reels. 3-screw only and preferably LHW.
