We do this every year on another forum I participate in. Thought it might be a good time here... Lots of potential for great categories.

So basically, we come up with a list of categories, and we have a round of nominations where everyone who wants to participate nominates one person for each category. We then take the top 3 nominees from each category and have a round of voting to choose the winners.

Potential ideas for categories:
Hawg of the year Award: Most bad ass fish posted in the gallery all year (must be a 2010 catch)
Mingo's aquarium Award: Anglers that catch a ridiculous variety of fish
Skunk/Might be part banana/Orangeradish Award - Self explanatory
Gear Whore Award - Another easily understood one
Conservation/Taking action Awards
Biggest Contributor to the site
Class Clown
Thread of the year
etc.

It's the only one you qualify for Mumbles has the others all locked up just cause you can hardly find others comments inbetween his. You'd have to take many others to equal the same amount of words uttered. Although he may not have enough factual knowledge included. That would be a laugh with all his research. Where you bin out doing research your self. Keeping busy? Me too.

If he speeds up by the time they pass out the awards he wiill have caught you. I'm sure he types on all three of his compputers simultaneously and also all night long. How does he find time to do all the fishing he does. Some even believe he has a full time (almost) job.
