Many small boats in this show that have historic Puget Sound roots. Salmon and Crabbing boats; skiffs, punts, prams, dories etc. Kayaks too. Kits, plans, lectures, traditional and modern. Row, power or sail, even steam . Here is a great opportunity. Maybe next year you will be fishing with your own boat that you built yourself.!

Dang! Thanks again for the reminder, Bob, but its gonna be tough for me to make it. There's a blues festival going on here in Westport on the 11th & 12th, with Lee Oskar playing on sunday afternoon (12th). There's a "blues harp blowoff" (whatever that is) going on sometime, too. Since I sometimes like to make noises on my blues harp, I plan to go listen. Also, there's the annual Brady's Oyster Feed going on here Saturday the 11th. I always go to that.

I went to the link Bob put up, and found a link to a list (with descriptions, brief history, & photos) of the boats being exhibited. For those of us who might not make the show, you can view photos of some of the boats.

I found an interesting boat named "Hope" on that list, and a rather humorous story there to go along with it. Hey Bob, Would this be the emoticon for "hope?" :beathead:
